account-ability is a shared accountability app. You and a few people you already trust keep the same list of commitments, everyone ticks their own day, and everyone sees the same record. It also keeps private personal lists, which nobody else can see.
Ask them for the six-character join code, then Lists → + → Join with a code. You see a preview of the list before you commit to joining it.
Join codes can be rotated by the list's owner, and rotating one stops the old code working
for everybody. Ask the owner for the current code. Codes are not case-sensitive and never
contain the confusable characters 0 O 1 I.
That is the app being offline, and it is working as intended: the tick is stored on your phone and sent as soon as there is a connection. You do not need to do anything, and you do not need to keep the app open.
Catch up lets you fill in a day you missed, for as long as your list allows it. A tick filled in later carries a Late badge in the group's activity feed, so it reads as caught up rather than as a same-day tick.
That is deliberate. A shared challenge's history would change retroactively if leaving erased it, so a departed member's past check-ins stay and are shown as departed. If they delete their account entirely, everything of theirs goes.
On the sign-in screen, tap Continue with email, type your address and tap Forgot password?. If there is an account for that address you will get a link by email. Open that link on the same phone you asked from — the app stores a one-time key on that device when you ask, and it is the only thing that can complete the reset. Opening it elsewhere gives you an error and you will need to ask again.
You → Account → Delete account. It removes your account, your personal lists and your check-ins from every shared list. Your friends keep their own records. It cannot be undone, and you are asked to sign in again first.
An in-app export is not built yet. Email support@rohan2jos.com from the address on your account and you will get a machine-readable copy within 30 days.
This app sends no crash reports and collects no diagnostics — nothing about a failure reaches anyone unless you say so. So if something breaks, the report has to come from you. What helps most: what you tapped, what you expected, what happened instead, and roughly when.
